Good to be back again with you sharing another book I have enjoyed. First, the blurb:

My Thoughts: I loved this story. Fated Fortunes is Book 7 of The Crucible series by Angela Colsin. I have really enjoyed each book in this series and Fated Fortunes is no exception. Jada is an elf on a quest to finish her grandfather’s work. Dal’ris is a draconian of the Dra’Kai line of the Great Dragons. They met briefly 30 years ago while Jada was working on her quest and outsmarted Dal’ris. He has never forgotten that. They meet again when Jada ends up needing his help and start working together on this quest and realize they are mates. Just one problem–elves and draconians cannot mate. Problems ensue on multiple fronts.
This story was fun and engaging with enough action and battles thrown in to really make it a good story. We see a few favorite characters from prior books appear in this one also and that is always fun. My favorite character from prior books is Isaac–Dal’ris may be pulling ahead in that category. I enjoyed the banter between Dal’ris and Jada and the surprises in plot at the end made me happy! If you haven’t read the Crucible series yet, give it a try.
